Pennsylvania Legislature

How does government work in Pennsylvania?

The PA House of Representatives describes the General Assembly (our elected Senators and Representatives), the Legislative process, Legislative sessions and more in an online primer that you can access here.

To find out more about activity in the PA House, Senate or to find a particular bill, visit the PA General Assembly

How can I help?

Are your Pennsylvania House, Senate and US House district numbers included in your member profile? Their inclusion will help us in our advocacy for the profession and for our consumers. Take a moment and be sure your district numbers are identified. If you don't know your numbers, follow the instructions to look them up  - click on Manage Profile in the upper right menu.

We encourage members to write to their Legislators as important items are under consideration. AOTA offers helpful tips for communicating with CongressPopvox is a convenient way to communicate with members of the United States Congress. Your message is sent electronically and counted!
