Opportunities for POTA Student Members

Members only pages

Here's a way to connect with other POTA students. Take a look at the discussion Forum, a place for all to post information, ideas, questions. The POTA Student Representative to the Executive Board and Board members visit regularly and join in discussions when appropriate.

Educational Programs

District Activities

Local districts offer a variety of programs throughout the year, with presenters from within and beyond the occupational therapy profession. Student members are encouraged to attend local district events. Check your district's page or the Calendar of Events to see what's planned.

Annual Conference

Our premier educational program,  the Annual Conference, is held in the fall each year.  Consider how you can be a part of this event. Perhaps you and other students collaborate with a faculty member in your program to present a poster or workshop at the conference. CLICK HERE for Conference information and be sure to submit your proposal for consideration in the fall conference program.

  • his/her interest in the position and willingness to serve (including whether for 1 or 2 year term);
  • what he/she can bring to the position;
  • what he/she hopes to gain from the experience.

   2. letter of support from the Program Director or another faculty member.
