The presentation will focus on the iPad-based program that was created for a Capstone Project: "Interpersonal APProach to Dementia." The program focused on decreasing agitation in older adults with dementia and providing caregiver education through the use of apps. Learn about the particular apps that were used in the program as well as their impact on those with dementia and their caregivers.Learn the benefits of incorporating technology, particularly iPads, into occupational therapy.

The presentation will focus on the iPad-based program that Anna created for her Capstone Project: "Interpersonal APProach to Dementia." This program focused on decreasing agitation in older adults with dementia as well as providing caregiver education through the use of apps. Anna will share information about the particular apps that were included in the program as well as their impact on those with dementia and their caregivers during my DEC experience. Anna will also discuss the benefits of incorporating technology, particularly iPads, into occupational therapy.
